This is one of the most popular beaches of Kefalonia at the southeast edge of the island and the largest in length, as it spans for about 5 kilometers. It has clean blue water and light colored sand with little pebble, as well as a small pine forest as a background. Skala is an organized beach, quite wide, with lots of watersports, umbrellas, some shops and several luxurious hotels.
