This Museum was founded recently, on 1983, in a traditional Cycladic building of the 19th century, while it was completely renovated in 2024. It is considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Greece. It has an interesting collection of instruments, maps and coins. One of the most interesting collections is the models of ships ranging from the prehistoric times until the 20th century. The Aegean Maritime Museum is open daily (except Monday) 10:00-13:00 & 18:00-21:00.
